Fittja is different today than it was when it was built 50 years ago. What is Fittja in 50 years?
Twelve young residents from Fittja have made an artistic interpretation of their future Fittja.
Spridd, Botkyrkabyggen and NCC are working together to renovate and to renew Fittja.
Before the renovation, we have studied Fittjas history, how the city area and the individual buildings were planned from the beginning, and how the environment and the buildings have changed through time. When the houses were built in the `70s they were a successful example. When we renovate, we want to carefully repair what is worn and improve the common areas.
But it is not just a construction project since we want to be involved in developing Fittja together with those who live here. Therefore, together with the artist Saadia Hussain and twelve young Fittja residents we initiated this project, where we explore the future of Fittja.
